The discovery of Self through performance.
The MEP RACETEAM aims to use movement as a team to bond, to push and support one another in the unique way endurance sport offers. Our training will bring us to the edge of these questions; Why am I doing this? Who am I? What is my purpose?
The team will have parallel goals; targeting performance while also exploring answers to the more meaningful questions along the journey as humans.
To start Spring 2025, the latest edition of the MEP RACE- TEAM will endevor a heart-centered half marathon program. We will take a group of 10-15 athletes on a journey to performance over 13.1 miles while exploring what drives us, our own purpose for endurance sport and how we are being in the world.
The program will unfold over two months, leading up to a fast half-marathon in California. While we aim to cultivate a deeper sense of connect to Self and our purpose in life –we also are aiming to run fast.

The mission of Mindful Endurance Program is inspiring personal growth through movement and connection. Alongside our focus on running, we’ll integrate meditation, breathwork and sound therapy.
We’ll run together as a group every weekend, bi-weekly mid-week and have a group Zoom calls regularly.

Ryan Willms
MEP (Mindful Endurance Program) was started by Ryan Willms, as a way to bring spirituality and sport together. While diving deep into emotional work of his own, the parallel development of physical endurance not only supported this growth but the two complemented and helped each other, and so Ryan has begun developing a series of workshops and experiences where we can use the medium of movement practice to connect more deeply to our-Self and others.
